Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Trainings or ASIST. ASIST is a two-day workshop in suicide first aid. ASIST teaches participants to recognize when someone may have thoughts of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. The training is 2 full days (8:00am-4:30pm) and will be held at Marina Village. Breakfast and lunch are provided for both trainings. Space is limited to 30!
Training #1: Thursday, April 20th and Friday, April 21st
A refundable $20 deposit is required to reserve your spot. Deposits are accepted via check/cash (preferred) or PayPal. Check or cash deposits can be submitted to the CHIP office via mail or drop off at 5095 Murphy Canyon Rd. Suite 105 San Diego, CA 92123. All deposits will be returned on the second day of training.
